Welcome to The Rock Community Mentalh Health Association
RCMHA is a non-profit, faith-based organization established in 2019 in Bamenda, Cameroon. We provide mental health support, focusing on drug, cigarette, and alcohol abuse rehabilitation through education, therapy, and outreach.
Drug abuse is rising due to crises like the Anglophone conflict, refugee influx, and Boko Haram, leading to trauma and addiction. Substances like marijuana, tramadol, cocaine, and others are prevalent among youth, causing health and security problems. WHO data shows it contributes to 0.32% of deaths, ranking Cameroon 16th globally.
We manage drug abuse through psychosocial therapy, psychological first aid, detoxification support, support groups, and youth counselling. We also address related conditions like depression and anxiety.
